These laws define what LEVEGH does and what it does not.
They are observed without exception.
01
One-of-One
Every LEVEGH work exists once.
A single scale.
A single configuration.
Once completed, it is never repeated.
03
No Editions
LEVEGH does not produce editions.
Similarity may exist in history.
It does not exist in outcome.
05
Engineering as Foundation
Engineering exists to ensure accuracy.
It is not visible when it functions correctly.
What remains visible is intention.
07
No Outsourcing
The work is not outsourced.
What carries the LEVEGH name is executed within the atelier and resolved on the bench.
09
Provenance
Each work is documented and traceable.
Documentation exists to preserve authorship, not to enable reproduction.
02
Built by Hand
All works are made by hand in France.
The hand determines surface, wear, and presence.
No substitute exists for this.
04
Time Without Compression
Time is allowed to extend as required.
Schedules do not determine completion.
Work concludes if nothing improves it.
06
Fidelity Over Perfection
Irregularities are not corrected if they belong to the original machine.
Perfection is not the objective.
Truth is.
08
No Acceleration
Volume is not pursued.
Growth is not our measure of success.
Endurance is.
10
Value Through Scarcity
By producing One-of-One works without repetition, LEVEGH allows value to endure rather than fluctuate.
No assurances are given.
Only conditions are maintained.
Commissions are considered individually.
