This September, the world of classic cars and luxury collecting gathered at the historic Goodwood House for the second edition of the Classics Forum, organized by Michele Bertoncello and the AssetClassic team.
With McKinsey & Company as Knowledge Partner, the event brought together 150 of the most influential leaders across the industry: executives, investors, collectors, OEM representatives, and opinion leaders shaping the future of the classic car ecosystem.
Amid this extraordinary backdrop, Levegh was invited to present two “in production” models that embody our philosophy: building not replicas, but one-of-one mechanical artworks designed to endure as cultural icons.
Two icons, in miniature yet monumental
Guests at the Forum were greeted by a sight both familiar and surprising. Inside Goodwood House, among the conversations about heritage, innovation, and the future of the classic car world, stood two Levegh models, unfinished but already radiating character:
A weathered Porsche 917K - 1971 Spa Francorchamps Winner, its patina and racing scars already emerging under the meticulous hands of our artisans. The hood was lifted to reveal an unfinished but extraordinarily detailed engine, each element crafted and aged by hand to capture not just form, but history.
A Porsche 993 RWB, still in progress, yet already displaying the bold lines and distinctive details that have made RWB a cult phenomenon among collectors.
Though works in progress, these models conveyed exactly what Levegh stands for: obsession with detail, respect for legacy, and the belief that scale is no barrier to emotion.
Why Goodwood matters
The Classics Forum is not just another gathering. It is where the classic car world’s most forward-thinking voices converge to ask hard questions: How do we preserve value? How do we engage new generations of collectors? How does craftsmanship evolve in a digital era?
For Levegh, being invited to present our work in such a context was more than an honor. It was validation that what we are building, a new category of ultra-luxury collectibles, resonates with the broader ecosystem of collectors, investors, and OEMs.
Gratitude and vision
We extend our deepest thanks to Michele Bertoncello and his team for orchestrating such a landmark event and for extending the invitation to Levegh. To be included alongside global leaders of the industry is a privilege, and one we do not take lightly.
Our vision is clear: to craft one-of-one mechanical art that awakens the child within and honors the collector they have become. Goodwood provided the perfect stage to share this vision, to spark new conversations, and to invite others to join us on the journey.
What comes next
The Classics Forum is a beginning, not a destination. In the coming months, the Porsche 917K and Porsche 993 RWB showcased at Goodwood will reach completion, joining an expanding portfolio of unique commissions and ready-for-collector pieces.
With our ongoing fundraising round and a growing circle of partners and ambassadors, Levegh is poised to bring its savoir-faire to discerning collectors worldwide, in motorsport, and perhaps soon in yachting and beyond.
Because true legends are not only remembered. They are crafted, by hand, to endure.
